About MyRateChecker
MyRateChecker is an independent comparison tool for people sending money from the UK abroad. We pull live pricing from the major money transfer providers and rank them by the amount your recipient actually receives after fees — not just the headline exchange rate.
What we do
For each route we compare Western Union, MoneyGram, Remitly, TapTapSend, LemFi, Ria, Aspora and Wise. Every provider is quoted live, normalised onto the same total-cost basis, and ranked so you can see who delivers the most to your recipient for a given amount and payout method.
You can filter by how you fund the transfer (bank transfer, debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and how your recipient is paid (bank deposit, cash pickup, mobile wallet), then open any provider to see each payout method and the partners behind it.
How we make money
MyRateChecker is free to use. Some "Send" buttons link to a provider through an affiliate link, and we may earn a commission if you sign up. This never affects how providers are ranked or displayed — rankings are driven entirely by the amount your recipient receives. See our methodology for details.
